That's the job description. For 20+ years, I've worked in messaging, strategy, and campaigns across Missouri politics. AFSCME, ballot initiatives, coalition fights, and now public affairs and strategic messaging for the Missouri National Education Association, the state's largest teachers' union.
It's all been for the same people: teachers, bus drivers, healthcare workers, and the folks who keep Missouri running.
